Hi, Today marks 5 years of my film career & co-incidently I begin another beautiful journey today. I feel the same nervous energy and butterflies in my stomach as I did when I started working on my first film, Hum Chaar. It’s a Rajshri production film, and I couldn’t be more grateful to begin my career with this film with a beautiful, young but determined team. (Some of us, including me were naive too 🐒) Our film didn’t make the numbers at the box office, in fact many people didn’t even know about the film when it released. That’s when you know it’s not just about working hard or being talented. It’s about patience. It’s a waiting game. it’s about how life has to work it out for you, or you could be the other one and take everything in your hands. I am of the former league. (Aur option bhi kya hai…) Having said that I am not even close to the vicinity of even being half the actor that I aspire to become. BUT, One thing is a solid fact, like gravity, my passion is real, and powerful. When you find no glory, no recognition, no reward, that’s when you have to fight harder. Like you don’t exist for the world, that’s when it really counts. Because when it’s easy, it’s easy. I’m not fighting for my dreams, I’m just defending hope, and faith of my own and of these lovely people in my life who believed in me when no one did. Hum chaar is now streaming on Zee5 in case you missed it, or loved my work in my first film and would like to watch it again. It’s an emotional drama about friends, family, love just like Rajshri.
