I was overwhelmed with pride and gratitude. And honestly, if my meds didn’t work so well, I would have shed a tear. While I was there I looked through the gift shop and there was a book with a quote from Virgil Abloh on it. It said ‘’Everything I do is for the 17-year-old version of myself ‘’ My 17-year-old self right now is all aglow and wondering how the fuck I’ve done it. I just figuratively gave him a big hug.
