So I feel quite confident about this CSC … The last one went pretty well but the national anthem one was off the charts. Let’s see. I’ve had very disturbed sleep for the last 3 days. And the need to cry didn’t relent.I started to become concerned because i don’t feel like that these days and I didn’t have a ‘’why’’.Then I got in the car, looked through the sunroof and there was my answer. The full moon. I texted my friend who works within the NHS about the moon and me and he told me that during full moons the mental health units go into overdrive and right now there are no beds available. Always the case apparently. This full moon is a Virgo full moon.I haven’t got a clue what that means. All I know is if it happens again I’ll……actually i have no end for this sentence….Cry, maybe…..🤷‍♂️ As I type this im on a plane and I’ve been awake for 25 hrs.Proper insomnia. Bizarrely I feel absolutely fine. So that’s the state of play. Its go time? So, full disclosure when I came up with the idea for this CSC and I thought about Sir David Attenborough. I was like ‘’Yeah, He’ll smash it. There’s no competition’’ and rightly so, He’s pretty epic. But it was kind of a fait accompli in my mind. So I already thought I knew the end of the film, As it were. And in which case I was a bit ‘’meh’’. But you can never underestimate the will of the people. Much like ‘’You’re the Voice’’ in the last comp. And so we have The internets winner….. your president……President Keanu Reeves. And that’s a result I think the whole planet can get behind. You love Keanu I love Keanu and now he’s the leader of the first true free world. The thought makes me happy. ‘’The First True Free World’’ that’s a lovely bunch of words put together, isn’t it? I did reach out to my good friend who does the agent-ing for Keanu and then halfway through my text to him, I thought. Im gonna ask Keanu to send me a video thanking my comment section for voting him President of the world. And then I thought. Hold on, that’s not the favour I need to introduce myself with to him. But just so you know. This was my text to his agent ‘’I’ve just run a competition on my insta for the imagined ‘’Peace time president’’ and he won. Beating Sir David Attenborough in the final. Actually, I don’t know why im telling you or what I want ….forget this text it doesn’t matter’’ Have a drink and toast to our new world and its fabulous president this evening.Who knows we may just have manifested it. Ok, so your options for the CSC …We carry on with a music-based comp OR we have something that is actually not as silly but still a CSC. I know that doesn’t explain much.
