Rory Kramer Instagram – One of my favorite birds to watch hunt is the red-tailed hawk. Their eyesight and accuracy is wild to witness in person. This one spotted a frog nearly a 100 yards away. I had ran over to see what he had captured. Once I was within range, he flew to a fence post paused for a moment while checking the surroundings then flew to the next fence post. Again, the hawk surveyed the area. It was almost as if the hawk knew I was photographing him and decided to show off for the camera with its recently capture. From the time the hawk captured the frog until it flew away was just over a minute but it was as if time slowed down giving me the opportunity to capture this spectacular moment.
