Santiago Cabrera Instagram – I think its important for people to note, that 116 days into this strike, our Union leaders have been ready and eager to negotiate with the Studios every single one of those 116 days. However, the companies we are negotiating with, have given our Negotiating Team, 8 or 9 days at most to talk in person. Face to face. 8 or 9 days out of 116!!!! And we’re not even talking full days of negotiating. The studios would give 3 hours here, 2 hours there.
On the “final” day of Negotiations this Saturday, our #Negcom got just 1 hour. ONE hour over ZOOM after waiting for 6 full days for an answer from them. A clear Intimidation tactic, tactics and games that are unfortunately still being played by the Companies (same playbook as with #WGA Strike) despite the hurt this work stoppage has alreay caused to thousands of people. Not just for folks within the industry, but people and businesses directly affected around it.
