Steve Borden Instagram – I don’t know how many times I introduced this Stinger toy to the ring, but knew that my career couldn’t be complete until I was able to introduce THE @stinger just once.
While I missed him by a couple of weeks on my way out of wrestling, I jumped on the opportunity two years later to work an independent show with him so I could do just that. Meeting Sting and being able to accomplish that, was the icing on the cake of my career that I needed.
I never expected what @aew has brought to all of us who work in and watch pro wrestling. We have been able to see Sting take an already, absolutely SPECTACULAR career and add yet 3 more years of unbelievable moments. So many of us who were just excited to see Sting the performer, got to know Sting the person. And if we thought the wrestler was on another level, I wish all of you could know the human being.
Sting, thank you for EVERYTHING you’ve done in your illustrious career. From the first time I saw you on tv to the first time I was able to see you live at Spring Stampede and every moment in the ring since the early 90’s through this past Wednesday night. And THANK YOU for being the person you are without the paint. I appreciate all of your time and heart that you shared with me from catering to the car to the airports and planes. You and your career are one of a kind, thank you for being you.
