Varun Mitra Instagram – We had just about completed 2 weeks of shoot when covid hit our worlds .
We were in a hotel in Delhi — when we got the news —- and it so happened that the first few Italians who had contracted covid were staying in the very same hotel . The situation was so bizarre that it took us a while to digest it … the fear was real .
I rmemeber all of us sitting in the dining hall and having our meal together – not knowing what the next day would bring with it .
Ofcourse things went on hold and we resumed shoot only after 8-9 months .
So many people lost so much, people lost jobs, they lost their dearest ones.
Needless to say it was scary going back to set – all I knew is ke bas ye shoot khatam karna hai kaise bhi karke .
I have to say — the entire team – amazon prime video , singro media – Naved , Antara, Jaspal namely did such a fabulous job of setting such guidelines that we all felt so safe . Everything was taken care of to the T . Will be forever grateful for that 🙏.
