Vikas Khanna Instagram – We recently celebrated a fire ceremony at @bungalowny, an ancient tradition of worshipping Agni (The Fire God) before the cooking begins.
Because there is no other element as pure as Agni which cooks the food.
Here is the recipe of the prasad that I cooked.
1 cup ghee
2 tablespoons chopped cashews
2 tablespoons chopped almonds
1 cup coarse atta (Indian whole wheat flour)
1 cup jaggery (grated)
2 1/2 cups water
10-12 cardamom pods, crushed
Generous pinch of saffron
