This is the first time playing #dearhardstyle. We premiered #fts at qlimax in 2006 and feel the same love and feedback as 17 years ago.
The moment of our return to the stage has been nothing else than love and memorable. Your feedback and appreciation means everything to us both.
I ( Wouter) was trying to keep it dry ( the moment in the picture ) since music for me is more than just music. It’s a harbor for my emotions, struggles pain and joy, all of that combined into music. I put everything I have in this ! For music to really reach a listener and a crowd it has to sound a 100 percent authentic and real. There’s a lot of stuff you can fake or manipulate in life, but not passion and real dedication and emotions.
This music genre is special to us, and to our fans. It connects us without speaking, it bonds us through sounds, melodies , vocals and unexplained emotions of a connection to the sound. We all need to have a place to come together in peace, forget about things that are hard and challenging and create a feeling of relief and joy, unity and love.
This show and the preparation was a major trigger for us to rejoin with the #hardstyle genre and fuse it with all that we have learned. We are working hard on our 360 Blue hardstyle album with over a dozen of new hardstyle releases and collaborations. In this set there’s a handful of songs that will be on the album , but there will be more. Stay tuned.
