Alyssa Milano Instagram – I’ve started to write this post four different times. And the truth is—there are no words to do Ady Justice. So forgive me as I try to stumble my way through this one. There are two people who changed me profoundly in my humanitarianism—the first was Ryan White and the second was Ady Barkan. Ady taught me to remember to be active in my activism. He taught me to keep showing up no matter how exhausted or heartbroken you feel. He taught me this by just being himself—with his big, beautiful heart and his fearless, tenacious, spirit. He fought (and fought) tirelessly for Medicare For All. He started @beahero with the simple principle that “here in the richest country in the world, and everywhere, we believe health care should be a human right. Everyone should have the care they need, no matter who they are, where they live, what job they have or whether they have a job at all. Our team takes on critical fights to transform America’s healthcare system so that it guarantees all of us the care and dignity we deserve.” I had the privilege to march, rally, protest and advocate by his side against many injustices. I watched in awe of his steadfast, unapologetic, leadership. He changed the world with his compassion and empathy. And he never said no! I grew in his light. It was warm and safe. I love him very much. I won’t use that verb in the past tense for Ady. His impact on the world is eternal. My complete and total love and light to Rachael and the kids and all who love him. May his memory be a blessing.
Alyssa Milano Instagram – 💔 It feels like the world is caving in. Tyler Christopher has passed away. He was a wonderful actor and so good in the Charmed episode “Pardon My Past”. I remember him as being a sweet, sweet, soul. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his friends and family.
