Illinois at The Park Avenue Armory based on a record by Sufjen Stevens I was not familiar with but this adaptation for the stage completely took my breath away, told entirely through the music and the body of dancers. A masterpiece. Written and adapted by Jackie Sibblies-Drury. The Storyville Mosquito at Lincoln Center created by Kid Koala. One of the most brilliant things I’ve ever seen: a live movie made in real time for the audience, in a production that combines live puppetry, cinematic camera techniques and music.
