Ana Golja Instagram – 🕊️ In 2016, @taraskoltun and I got tickets to the @tiff_net premiere of “King of the Dancehall” so we could see our dream “Luis” live and in person. I remember it like yesterday when Lou Gossett Jr answered a question during the Q&A and said “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says IM POSSIBLE”. And that was the beginning of our relentless pursuit to get Lou Gossett Jr to agree to be in @thecubanmovie .
The wisdom, charisma, love, positivity and warmth that this man radiated was beyond anything I had ever known in my life. His smile and laugh, infectious!
I truly never thought this day would come. I felt as though Lou would live forever. Because his spirit was so resilient and bright. Nothing ever stopped him. I am in complete shock.
I will treasure all of the beautiful memories we shared together, Lou. The laughs, the music, the dancing, the stories.
I will miss you so much.
