Recipe makes 𝟐 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 crust 9 inch pies or 𝟏 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 crust 9 inch pie ⁣
⁣
* 2 1/4 cups (12 ounces) all purpose flour⁣
* Large pinch of salt⁣
* 16 tablespoons (8 ounces) or 2 sticks chilled butter⁣
* 1/2 cup of ice water⁣
⁣
⁣
Pop this dough baby in the freezer until ready to use. The night before you’re ready to bake your pie, transfer from freezer to fridge so it can defrost and be ready for rolling out! ⁣

I’ve been working at getting more comfortable making pie dough this past year and while I am no expert, I am a lot more confident in being able to whip one up on a whim and that is really pretty awesome and I want you all to feel that way too.
