Breegan Jane Instagram – Moms, when is the last time you took a moment just for yourself? Before you answer that, let’s set a few parameters. I’m not talking about sitting on the bench at the park while the kids play, or watching TV while the baby naps. I’m talking about time AWAY from the kids (and partner!), time away from work, time away from the racing thoughts about all the stuff on your to-do list. Have you done that recently? You should. And, I know this is easier said than done. But I’m not saying you need to do anything extravagant. A trip to the Maldives might not be possible. But can you go sit in your favorite coffee shop and enjoy a lavender matcha for an hour? Maybe you send the kids on a few errands with dad while you rest at home in silence. Or, can you make time for an afternoon walk to clear your head a few times a week? Whatever it is that will give you a few moments of reprieve, rest, relaxation, you DESERVE that.
