First hike in North Carolina thanks to @alltrails ✅ Aside from Runyon Canyon Park, this was my first time ever doing something like this…and alone at that! This entire experience was terrifyingly fun AND I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT 👁️👄👁️
I slipped when I walked too fast and fell when I looked too far ahead. Step by step, moment to moment, was the only way to go. Life in a nutshell. No words were spoken, but every truth was revealed in real time. I was the only person on the trail, yet, I never once felt alone. Everything was alive. I made sure to thank the trees that helped me maintain my balance along the way.
To be that vulnerable was freeing. I dropped all my questions and worries when I stepped into the forest. When you’re in nature, your only choice is to be present. Nothing else matters. To be at its mercy is humbling…to marvel at its beauty is an honor…to understand we’re all connected is priceless ⛰️🌲🪨🪵🌱 ADVENTURE AWAITS!
