Cara Jade Myers Instagram – At this year’s SXSW Film Festival, the short film “We Ride For Her” raises awareness for the MMIW crisis affecting our communities. It tells a powerful story of women moving their grief into advocacy. Alongside the premiere of this documentary, the George Washington Carver Museum has installed the Red Dress Exhibition to provide an opportunity for public healing and accountability while honoring our Indigenous relatives who have gone missing or have been murdered. Proud to have the dress I wore as “Anna” in @applefilms Killers of the Flower Moon on display.

The We Ride For Her Red Dress Exhibition is open from March 9 through April 6, 2024 in Austin, Texas. Stop by to learn more as we work to end the era of violence and the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous relatives.

Thank you to @msprairierose for including Anna’s red dress in this collaboration with @werideforher and @redsandsproject! | Posted on 15/Mar/2024 06:53:29
