Cara Jade Myers Instagram – GLAMBOT X OSCARS 2024
I have a couple Easter eggs in my look!
1) I have 2 red handprints for MMIW – one on my left arm & one on my right leg. I was hoping they would show through more. But they’re there!!
2) My wombaka (I’m probably butchering the spelling) pin! I got it at @sharpsindianstore in OK. And it’s a traditional piece worn by Osage women to indicate your marital status. Mine is on my bow.
3) My makeup. On each side of my eyes I have 4 dots – one for each Kyle sister.
4) My jewelry. I took my family with me! My Osage sis: @dancingbluestones bracelet. My aunt @dinahuntinghorses necklace. She gave that to me on my 21st birthday. And my ring is made by my dad @terrencecampbell79
5) My new tattoo on my right wrist. It’s my tribe’s traditional name. So everyone knows I take my ancestors with me in all these spaces. Preparing them for the next generation.
6) My hair has 2 buns in the back- a tribute to Anna’s hair in the movie!
