Happy Halloween! No tricks! Only the BIGGEST TREAT EVER! Earlier this month on October 8th, my little girl, Cierli Ember was born! Jon and I probably won’t be posting many pictures on social media but I wanted to share this exciting joyful news with you. Wishing you a day of fun, imagination, celebration and JOY! And obviously… lots of candy! 👻🎃
Seeing all the love and gratitude for #Funimation made me want to dig through the archives and share this photo. I had just graduated from high school, and had never done dubbing or been to a convention. My first audition at that Frost Bank building led to me getting cast in Peach Girl which led to this picture of us promoting the show at Anime Boston in 2007. I had no idea what the future held but because of Funimation- I was able to call myself a full time working actor without living in an entertainment capital. And what a wonderful gift that is and was. Thank you #Funimation. You have a place in my heart always.
Thanks to all of you wonderful LIGHTS that bought shirt to celebrate my collab with @cloverpuffart, we were able to donate over $600 in toys to the local firestation to distribute toys around the Los Angeles area. We also made a financial donation to a local children’s hospital (the hospital pointed us to the firestation for the toy donation). I LOVE getting to give back and share the joy of imagination and play each year and I LOVE getting to share this experience with you all and NOW getting to share it with my daughter. She LOVED her first toy donation experience but she was too tired from buying the toys to drop them off and meet the firefighters. Maybe next year 😉

2023 was life changing. It was full of the things I have loved for years- I was fortunate enough to reprise characters I’ve played in the past, and got to take on new roles in projects I loved working on. I got to travel and see so many wonderful people at conventions. Except this year, all those sessions and all those traveling adventures- I had a little companion to share it all with. And in the latter part of the year I got to meet her. I’m so excited to see what the future holds. Cheers to 2024!

For my last Throwback to “Holiday” projects that I’ve done in the past. Here is Mabel from last years Christmas ad campaign for Aldi. I cannot express how much fun it was to collaborate on this campaign with the creative team and the other gnomes and then to get to step into Aldi and pick up my very own Mabel who helps decorate my office during the holiday season.
