Cindy Sirinya Bishop Instagram – It was my great pleasure and honor to MC the Regional UN Women Asia and the Pacific @unwomenasia Commemoration of International Women’s Day 2024 yesterday at United Nations ESCAP @unitednationsescap attended by distinguished Ambassadors, representatives of ESCAP member states, civil society organizations as well as our Youth Ambassadors for a Day. I also moderated a panel on how we can “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress” a much needed dialogue on how we can all further and support the economic empowerment of women and girls through access to financing mechanisms, addressing the issues of gender pay gap and unpaid care work, to learning the skills needed for green jobs of the future and support for feminist change-makers in every level of society.
