These photographs showcase the model’s body, face, and features in a natural setting. At every step of a model’s career, they will need to provide updated digitals to secure modeling contracts and paid work. 💡 As digitals are a crucial part of your career, you might as well get good at taking them. Here are some @cocorochamodelcamp tips: 1️⃣ We know you own ‘Study Of Pose,’ but keep posing minimal. Simplicity is key. 2️⃣ Proper lighting is crucial, preferably soft natural sunlight that is not direct. 3️⃣ Keep your background simple, preferably a white or neutral wall, avoiding clutter. 4️⃣ Capture various angles and distances, including full body, 3/4 shots, and headshots, with frontal, diagonal, and profile views. Generally speaking, your camera should mainly be low, not high. 5️⃣ We know you’re a fashionista but your outfit should be simple and timeless. Wearing neutral or black form-fitting clothing that shows your body type is recommended: often simple jeans, plain tees, and neutral-colored clothing are all that’s needed. Avoid oversized or distracting garments, and please, no logos! 6️⃣ Prioritize self-care before the shoot with adequate sleep and hydration. For glam, little to no makeup is best, focusing instead on your natural beauty. Hair should be clean and simple too; think ponytail, hanging down, or tucked behind the ear. 7️⃣  Take high-resolution photos with a clean camera lens.
