Diana Maria Riva Instagram – A night at the Unity Oscar’s Party!! This was rhe first offical invitation for @latinasactingup to partner for an event and we were in amazing company!! In a town and business that can divide communities, The Latinx House, an organization created to support and celebrate the Latino community, teamed up with the Blackhouse Foundation, Gold House, Hispanic Heritage Foundation Harness, IllumiNative, NAACP, and more. Each platform amplifies and shines a light on Black, Asian, Indigenous and other communities’ voices in Hollywood. We were so proud to have been community partners alongside HOPE, Collab LA, Latinas Acting Up, NALIP, Latino Film Institute, the National Hispanic Media Coalition, Latino Filmmakers Network, Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, and the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts. The hardworking LAU team of volunteers that have been instrumental in the daily run of our platform were able to join Co-founders @dianamariariva & @thereallisavidal in a night of celebration for our communities!!
