Eden Riegel Instagram – Today is my mother’s — the great Lenore Riegel aka @instagrammajm — birthday!!! Which actually means it’s my birthday, too, in a way. Since women are born with all their eggs, we were both born together! (Isn’t it sneaky how I made her birthday about me? 😂Incidentally that means my grandmother carried us both — thanks Oma 💪!!) I couldn’t be prouder to be this amazing woman’s daughter, and to have been there with her, in a way, throughout her brave, bold, courageous, adventurous life. She’s been a professional ballet dancer, an actor and model, a teacher, a muse, an entrepreneur, a director, a world traveler, an educator, a founder, a television producer, a muse again, a journalist, a manager, a publicist, a lawyer, a muse a few more times, a mother, a kickass grandmother, and through it all, a survivor. She has accomplished so much (I keep telling her to write a book) but her crowning achievement is probably her parenting because her whole life she wanted to be a mom more than anything. And boy did she crush that! And she gives all of herself to her kids. I believe with my whole heart that she loves me more than anyone loves anyone. Just try to prove me wrong! That love has been my true north, the thing that steadies me and makes me certain I can make it through anything. It made me love myself. Unconditional love is so damn powerful, people!
