We stand in solidarity with Çiğdem Mater
At the Gezi trial in which Çiğdem Mater was also under trialled, we once again witnessed how resisting the patriarchal government and its oppression, and refusing to submit to lawlessness is punished.
We know this punishment is a consequence of fear and fury, and yet the voices of millions shall not be silenced. You have punished a film that hasn’t been shot yet; we will not stop making our films and fighting for what we know is just.
We know the darkness will end once we end our silence.
