It LOOKS like something you’d be more likely to find in @clairesstores than in science class. 💅🏻That was intentional. It’s designed to be bright, shiny and welcoming for all. Lisa Frank meets Bill Nye. I wanted to dress in the same way I fashioned my book. Bright, shiny and welcoming for all. I noticed early on that when kids came to my book signings they would dress up: in their lab coats, their favorite space shirts, astronaut suits, pink Emily’s Wonder lab overalls, and most recently their best Professional Cupcake fits. So I simply decided to follow suit! Little kids come excited to show me their outfit AND their dreams. The most lovely combo. Kids are hanging out friendship bracelets and making friends with other little scientists in line. My book signings feel like the science version of the Barbie movie and the Eras tour. The vibes are immaculate and I’m just honored to be part of it 💗
