As unlikely as it sounds, my family felt gratitude having a shred of light shine on my brother’s passing when we learned he would be able to donate life to multiple people, allowing them more time with their loved ones. It is a rare gift – only about 1% of people who are registered as organ donors can donate after they pass away.
