Home Actress Fortune Feimster HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers March 2024 Fortune Feimster Instagram - Today would have been my grandmother, Evelyn’s, birthday. She died when I was 18 but I think about her a lot. She was an incredible person and such an example of unconditional love. This weekend I’m playing the Chicago Theatre. It’s been a dream of mine since I started standup. Seeing the name Fortune on that marquee, a family name she was determined for me to have, is one of those beautiful full circle moments. I often wonder what she would have thought sitting in the audience. Seeing that once shy, unsure girl on stage, who’s only able to be there because she saw so much more in me that I couldn’t yet see in myself. But I know she’s watching and I think she’d be proud. So just wanted to take a sec to honor her. And I’ve said this before, but if you still have your grandmother, give her some extra love. And take pictures! I don’t have many and I didn’t even brush my hair! Also, look how gay I was. Wonder if she saw that too. Lol. I love you, Nana.
