Over a month has passed since our realities have been shattered, and the world has ignited. One month of numbness and nausea.
I feel for the ones we have lost
on both sides of the border.
The wound is deep and the pain won’t stop overnight.
Today I feel the urge to write this
Because now more than ever we need to remember
Our light, our love, our humanity.
Let us not give in to terror,
Let’s stay civilised,
And let’s value considerate and measured speeches.
Let us regain our human Solidarity.
