J. Smith-Cameron Instagram – For this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Kyiv-born brand Sleeper intends to inspire women globally to embrace self-care for their bodies. As part of the empowering initiative, the brand seeks to encourage women to do an annual breast ultrasound as an act of self-love.
According to experts, every woman from the age of 18 should undergo a mammary gland ultrasound once a year, and a complete mammogram from the age of 45. Early diagnosis can help prevent or reduce breast cancer-related risks, and early detection of cancer gives a far better chance of full recovery.
Throughout October, Sleeper will also donate up to 10% of sales revenue from its curated list of pink styles sold online throughout October to support breast cancer patients in Ukraine.
The BCAM campaign imagery was brought to life by Ukrainian photographer Sonya Sem. It is dedicated to celebrating a female body, in all its diversity and beauty, and aims to remind women around the world to love and take care of their bodies.
PLEASE check out their scrumptious pink line and yes this is mine and Suds’ homage to #Olympia by #Manet currently here in #NYC at the #MetropolitanMuseum! Photo cred @viraldavid_ | Posted on 05/Oct/2023 04:11:55
