Jamie Otis Instagram – Ten years ago today I was single and lonely.🙃 Well, technically I was engaged & about to marry to a stranger I never met & didn’t know his name.💍 The experts from Married At First Sight told me they found me a “perfect match” and I was frantically trying to prepare myself to meet what could be the man of my dreams… 👰💕🤵 Little did I know, that man who I first laid eyes on as he was standing at the end of our wedding aisle would become my best friend, children’s father and my whole world.🌎 🙏❤️ It hasn’t always been rainbows and sunshine (no relationship is) and we’ve been very, very honest about our good times and our hard times.👀 I’ve gotta tell ya – if you’re in a rough rut with your partner and not sure if you’ll make it through, therapy is so incredibly helpful!🙏 Now that we are on the other side of some of the issues we had, I’ve gotta be honest, I truly feel EVERY MOMENT THAT HAS LED US TO WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW HAS BEEN WORTH IT!💯 Even the hard ones. Going through tough times with the same person — and then making it out & into the good times again — makes you and your relationship *so much stronger* and your love grow deeper.❤️ @doughehner there’s no one else I’d rather do this life with! I’m so thankful to God, the universe and all my lucky stars that some producers way back in the day lied to us and told us the show was about “dating” and then last minute dropped the truth that it was about marriage & proceeded to convince us that marrying a stranger could actually work… bc look at the beautiful life we’ve built together!🙏🥰 I’ll forever thank the experts from our season bc they helped us so much- @dr_pepper_schwartz @drjoecilona @loganlevkoff and Greg Epstein.❤️ We originally planned on having a 10 year vow renewal this summer, but now that I’m pregnant with twins and they’re due in October we might have to postpone this vow renewal.😭 We’re just trying to make sure both these babies are safe and growing big and strong🙏 …Monday can’t come soon enough – I can’t wait to meet the high risk doc and hear him say “both babies are healthy & strong!”🙏🙏🙏
