Jane Sibbett Instagram – What a glorious long weekend. In the midst of the muddle of this wild planet, I did not go to Oscar weekend in LA, but instead, witnessed one of the most beautiful, heartfelt, true love masterpieces of a wedding and reception I’ve ever seen. From dandelion wishers in Rosie’s veil and tiny leather journals holding vows that neither the beaming groom nor blushing bride needed, but held, to the sweet mothers tales and recitations to brilliant bridesmaid standup comedy through tears of joy and love, this auntie couldn’t be more proud of Rosie & Ryan’s wedded bliss. The daddy dances brought me tears and Judy’s (MOB) phenomenal rip-away MTM gown and rocking dance with daughter Rosie brought bliss from the days we loved seeing Judy dance with the SF Ballet before she danced Modern Dance in NYC. Margie’s toast was so en pointe that even Mr. & Mrs. French rolled in from the heavens with wise words and angelic pride. How I needed this. How I love celebrating love! How I loved hanging out on all the edges with dear, dear old friends and talking myself hoarse. Hope springs eternal! Many, many blessings on Rosie & Ryan and all the family-extended and otherwise.
