I’ve never felt more connected to a community and a cause, especially after a pandemic isolated so many of us from the industry and each other. I’m elated and relieved that a deal was finally made by our brilliant @sagaftra leaders and negotiating team! The palpable daily joy, angst, and fearlessness on the picket lines was a fantastical visceral experience from these uplifting, yet dreadful 118 days. The WGA led the way as we marched in solidarity together, with our brilliant strike captains keeping us chanting, hydrated, and motivated from 100 degrees to 37. The friendships made and deepened are the other winners in all this. So grateful for everyone who walked the lines, shared online, and simply dropped a line during this time.
