Jo Frost Instagram – It is in the nuance of knowing when doing so is going to get in the way of protecting them…like them hanging onto your hip when cooking over the hot stove. Or carrying them like little puppies delaying their confidence to walk alittle more and explore confidently the safe surroundings, or to try something new because there is this comfort zone that is not gently being nudged in the right direction for them to see the awe in the situation they can be a part of.  All children need this gentle hand at some point, this encouragement, knowing that we are there and aren’t going anywhere either so they can trust to just simply do and be, this requires our patience but also our connection to gage as such with our own child or our little charge if you are a carer or nursery school educator.
