Kelly McCreary Instagram – Essence #BlackWomenInHollywood is always an affair to remember! I ran into more friends and women I admire and/or stan than I can count, and snagged just a few selfies (swipe to the end)… This year, among the stellar honorees recognized for their talents and accomplishments was my friend @busbykat. In her role as President of Original Programming at Starz she is a towering champion of our stories (just see pic #2), and she’s been about that work of creating space for us for her whole career. Everyone in the room yesterday got to experience the warm and uplifting spirit that makes her so special; her passion and joy transformed the space! Busby, I am so grateful I got to witness you receiving the flowers you so richly deserve. Love you, Queen!
