Lucy Fry Instagram – New painting 🎨 New Hair 💇🏼‍♀️ (3rd pic reward for putting up with my art 😋) It was interesting to watch the expression change in the models eyes over the two weeks in this painting. My teacher @rickymujicaartist says that a portrait is a creation somewhere half way between the artist and the model, you can’t help bringing yourself to it. As much as you try to report diligently! There was a good few days of this where her eyes were angry (like the red behind her). But on the last day, they settled into more peace. If I were to give this painting a name it would be ‘a woman befriends her anger.’
