Mel B Instagram – For #IWD24, we are being #BrutallyHonest, with our Patron, Melanie Brown MBE.

Today is the #PublicationDay of her book, Brutally Honest, featuring new chapters on her experiences of domestic abuse and becoming our inspiring Patron. We are so grateful to have Mel as our Patron. She inspires us every day to continue working to end domestic abuse. Her book is truly helping us to save lives. Her story shows survivors you are not alone, there is support for you and safe, happy futures are on the horizon.

Above all, and as a survivor herself, the most powerful thing has been hearing your stories. The true, brutally honest stories of what it’s like to experience abuse. Throughout International Women’s Day, and our 50th year, we want to highlight your experiences, whether you’re a survivor, our member or a supporter, to call for urgent change for every woman who experiences abuse. Together we can make domestic abuse the top priority on the political agenda, saving lives and creating a future free from abuse.

To help #EndAbuseTogether, please share your stories via the link in our bio, giving other survivors the confidence to reach out for support. All stories will be anonymised but please consider your safety before sharing any information publicly.
