Missing you a little extra today papa. I remember planning months ahead for your birthday every year, sneakily hiding the presents and cake for you, wishing you at 12 AM to see that unadulterated smile on your face. You aren’t here by my side for all that and Without you today feels more emptier than the other days. How will I ever come to terms with not being able to see you ever. I still do not know. Days and Months have passed since you left. Life somehow slowly looks normal because I smile, I work, I do everything I can on the outside, but something inside me is broken and shattered into pieces and can never be put back together ever. My eyes never stopped searching for you, my heart never stopped needing you, and my life will never be the same again knowing that you aren’t physically around 💔.
