You’re never too far from a korean restaurant in Thailand and if you’re lucky you might even find a little korean town filled with , surprisingly , only korean food.
I’ve always wanted to try this dish called ‘ Naengmyeon ‘ so i decided to head to my local Korean town and see if i could score some cold noods and score i did!
The broth was sweet tangy and salty all at the same time and was wonderfully refreshing and cooling. Adding mustard and vinegar gives it the perfect balance of flavour. Great for a hot summers day or any day in Thailand for that matter.
The noodles were chewy and perfectly cooked. My bowl was accompanied with a pair of scissors so I could cut the noodles for safer eating as they are known to be very long and can very well choke you ! Death by noodle would not be ideal so if you are confronted with this unusual custom please just cut the noodle 🙂
Enjoyed this dish a lot and happy i tried something new. I feel so lucky to have grown up in a country that has a vast variety of cultural cuisines. It truly is foodie heaven 🥰
