Home Actress Poh Ling Yeow HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers March 2024 Poh Ling Yeow Instagram - For me there is no beauty more fascinating than that of the natural world and using materials that would otherwise be discarded just floats my boat to the max! This little sub section of my art practise came about when I started collecting the malted feathers of my pet budgies about 25 years ago. Separating them by colour size and paternation alone is my favourite kind of meditation. I learned the hard way u can’t always whistle while u work 😣! The tiniest of the feathers are 1mm in diameter and so sensitive to air movement that a blowfly once scattered tiny pile of feathers I’d sorted. I love that it made me stop working & consider the physics of flight. It’s also kinduv sweet to intimately know which part of the birds the feather come from, the tiniest ones for instance fan around the beak and get bigger as they travel towards the tail. These are a few of perhaps 10 feather works I’ve made. I’ve amassed a ridiculous collection of feathers and I think it might be time to start a behemoth which I’ve been contemplating for at least a decade. Yes, I think it’s time 🤔 #artbypoh #artist #australianartist #nature #naturelovers #birds #budgie #budgerigar #pohart
