Polina Pushkareva Instagram – My first movie as an investor and actress “DARKGAME” with Ed Westwick is out today. 4 years in making and waiting and we are finally here! This film is a reminder for all of you that today you can be sitting in the middle of nowhere watching your favourite TV series with Hollywood actor and in a couple of years you can be the one who’s paying his salary. Couple years ago my life was far away from glamorous: I was working 12 hours shift in fast, food chain, earning 2$/hour. My apartment was so small that my toilet was literally in my kitchen. This movie is reflection of how dramatically you can change your life, if you take your goals and dreams seriously and do something about them every single day. With no excuses and no procrastination. I invested in this movie for 2 reasons: First of all, it was my way to say to the past Polina “impossible things are something you CAN reach”. And second of all, I was surprised with the script: it wasn’t another horror movie. It is deep and psychological story that will put you on emotional rollercoaster and tickle your nurse from the beginning till the end. I’m also playing this movie and my character is getting abused, hurt and tortured and It was SUPER hard to act in these scenes: camera sees when you fake it. And yours with Ed characters have the most important final scene in the movie. I hope I did a good job. You will judge it and see. Movie is out in US and you can watch it at @darkgame.movie at 20th of February and other parts of the world will get the movie at 29th.
