Sasha Alsberg Instagram – To be honest, social media and I have a weird relationship. I love living my life offline and social media comes secondary because of that. So, since I haven’t posted much recently, I need to know . . . what have you been reading? I’m currently reading The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides (no spoilers!) I’ve been reading so much more since leaving social media and it is wild to see how much my reading tastes have changed. I am primarily reading psychological thrillers and it has been heavenly (and murderous!). I totally think the reason is because I work at @joffebooks and the psych thrillers I’ve marketed tempted me to jump into the genre. Whoop! My current favorite authors I’ve read in 2022 have been @willrdean and @lisajewelluk, highly recommend all their books! Sasha Alsberg Instagram – A few months ago I was contacted by @manorandmaker inviting me stay at their beautiful French chateau for a Nanowrimo retreat. 🏰 It’s fair to say that I not only got writing done (#Deadlinelife), but creatively, it relit a fire within me that I thought had long since gone out. I am forever grateful for the new friendships I’ve formed with Sara and Stephen (and their precious pups, of course!) They helped light that creative fire through collaboration and kinship in art and for that, I am so thankful. What they do with their chateau retreats can only be described as magic. From the delicious food and top notch hospitality, to the countryside walks and endless conversation, I am still in awe and feeling so full (my heart and my stomach!)
