Shannen Doherty Instagram – 💔🌈HEAVY HEARTS FOR GRACE💔🌈 💔💫It is with very heavy hearts we have to inform everyone Grace and her baby gained their wings a few days ago! 💔✨We had been so very hopeful that it would be a positive outcome for this sweet girl and did absolutely everything in our power to help make this possible! 💔💫We worked with CSU to attempt to save her eyes by removing the tumors and using immuno therapy. We were doing all we could to give her the best possible outcome! 💔✨After 3 weeks of the initial immuno therapy treatment and loads of meds the eyes hadn’t made huge progress and she was due back at CSU for a check up and possibly another round of treatment or quality of life discussion on the 23rd January 💔💫During the first night of the storm this last week Grace unbeknownst to us was pregnant and aborted a foetus. Unfortunately she retained her placenta which would have meant another hospital stay with more meds and more treatments and more suffering. 💔✨After all she had been through felt it was no longer fair for Grace to be forced to continue on so she was laid to rest on Saturday morning and cremated along side her baby. 💔✨May you spread your wings 🪽 in peace now Grace🌈 and your baby 💔As a rescue these are the hardest decisions to make and you are constantly questioning what’s right and if you did the right thing. 🙏We do know we will continue to honour this sweet girl and her legacy will live on in in the horses we save us and in the eyes of her best friend Protector. 🫶This beautiful boy who was there by her side always and deserves nothing but love and we can’t wait to shower him with all he deserves🙏 Thank you to our beautiful new friend who is now feels like our family @theshando and to our on ground team Rachel and Kindra 🙏❤️ 👉Find out how you can help save more lives like Grace by going to the link in bio @believeranchandrescue Colorado, USA
