HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY ✨ While I’d love to sit here and just spend today celebrating my fellow women for the brilliant badasses we are, I’m overwhelmed by the regression we’ve seen over these past 2 years. Progress is possible. We know this. But it requires all genders to step up and demand it. Challenging the status quo, questioning the intention and bias of decision makers, voicing the controversial opinions… you know the drill. Whether you’re one of the all too rare female founders who has the means and opportunity to provide resources you didn’t have access to and create opportunity for other women to join you at the table or an Oscar-nominated man who has the platform to advocate for a woman (or two)’s entitlement to the same (or greater!) recognition or a human who can acknowledge that no one’s personal beliefs of any kind should factor into a woman’s right to autonomy over her own body… it is for the benefit of absolutely everyone that gender equality is deemed vital. Shout out to @florencegiven for being a constant source of inspiration and uplifting me and so many women daily 🖤 Happy us day, ladies. Let’s f*ing show ‘em what we’ve got.
