Did you know that sleeping nude is a great way to promote vaginal health and helps to keep yeast infections away. (Some researchers say that sleeping naked may also help you to fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer… worth the try!) A healthy sleep schedule is important, so try and see what works! 📸: @handsomegirldesigns
The umbilical cord is on average 24 inches long. It is the lifeline between the baby and the placenta. This magical cord delivers oxygen and nutrients to a growing and developing baby during the nine month journey of pregnancy. #FotoFriday 📸: @softcornermidwitery
“You are what you eat” is an idiom for all things body-related. It’s important to remember that a fragrant vagina is perfectly healthy. Ultimately, the taste depends on its pH levels — a ‘normal’ pH balance is slightly acidic which helps protect the vagina from infections and odors. The vagina is not meant to smell like a rose garden, the key is to know what your ‘normal’ smells like. The good news is that there are foods that can actually add a sweet smell or taste to the vagina f fresh fruits (especially pineapple!), vegetables, whole grains, Greek yogurt, and [drinking] plenty of water can be great for general health… and a sweeter-tasting V! 📸: @hanna_panchenko

Wondering how to make baby move in utero? One of the ways I think is the most effective way, is to eat or drink something with a moderate natural sugar content. You may notice more fetal movement right after eating a meal when Mom’s sugar or glucose levels are high. The increase in Mom’s blood sugar often increases baby’s alertness and encourages them to move around. Let’s talk pubic hair! What are some benefits? It helps prevent dirt from entering the vagina, keeps your genitals warm, and helps act as a cushion during sex, spinning and other forms of exercise. Pubic hair can also be groomed for your preference! 📸: @lana.prins

The pelvis or pelvic girdle is a basin-shaped complex of bones that connects the trunk and the legs offering balance and support while protecting internal reproductive organs, the urinary bladder, and the lower part of the digestive tract. The female pelvic bones are typically larger and broader than a male’s. This is so a baby can pass through the pubic outlet, the circular hole in the middle of the pelvic bones, during childbirth. The pubic arch, or space under the base of the pelvis, is also wider for this reason. Art by: @laineswansonart
Caring for your body with nutritious foods is always important. When it comes to cramps, water-based foods can help with added hydration… lettuce, berries, celery, cucumber and watermelon. Drinking ample water, warm or hot, also helps to relax the uterine muscles. Add lemon or ginger for a little detox kick. Hydration is important for the vagina, skin and entire body!
