Make up @makeupbymahendra7 Hair @priyanka_sherkar1 Blouse @sithara_kudige The process of creating a piece of kalamkari art is elaborate and time consuming which takes several days to weeks to shape in to final output The fabric is soaked washed and rinsed in running water or a large tub Then treated with myrobalan and buffalo milk solution It’s dried in sun and later sketched using coal made from tamarind twigs The out line created using “kalam- a bamboo stick sharpened and wrapped with a peice of fabric” in a natural black dye The natural dyes are later applied one after the another The fabric is boiled rinsed and sun dried finally to get ready
