Swastika Mukherjee Instagram – It was such a magnificent surprise to receive an invitation to meet the Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Ma’am Sheikh Hasina and a huge honour to be at her residence to spend an hour with her.
To be in the same space with stalwarts from my country, Sharmila Tagore ma’am and Mama pishi (Mamata Shankar), & Dr. Shohini Ghosh was a proud moment for me.
I had the best delicacies of Dhaka at her residence and the tea was nothing I have ever had before.
Thank you Director, Ahmed Muztaba Zamal of @dicff_filmfest for making this a possibility for us.
Thank you @kaushik.taposh for helping me put @lipstickler ‘s name on the list. I didn’t want her to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity.
The honourable PM is humble beyond words, elegant & graceful. She spoke about her kids like any other mother.
I feel proud of myself. I wish my parents were here to be a part of this journey.

I am so happy for you @tul_palav for being a part of this special day.
The gorgeous ensemble belongs to them 💝
