Here’s some OG LOLA for those feeling sentimental. For the record, I am 100% about inclusiveness. I am worried though that we are sending a message that strong women can’t be hot and that’s concerning to me. Girls should be encouraged to be who they are. Period. If that means you are a CEO or athlete or astronaut…whatever. Looking the way you look that works for YOU and makes YOU happy should be the goal. Have the body YOU want. The idea that you cannot have leadership skills while wearing makeup and having curves is kinda insulting. However, no progress is ever made without missteps and perhaps one day we’ll get to the place where women can just be who they are without fitting into a “box”. Here’s hoping! 🐰💕🥕

REAL TALK: Speaking of being put into a box…since my legs often don’t support my weight without dislocating, you will notice that about 75% of my poses I am sitting, kneeling, leaning up against a fence /wall / tree or lying down. This is because it is necessary for my safety and I am able to shoot longer if I don’t use my energy standing. I don’t see a problem with creating art in a safe way for me ♿ If you are disabled don’t let other people define you. ♿
