Thuso Mbedu Instagram – We all have different ways of describing our relationship with driving. I’ve always described mine as being “therapeutic”. Sitting in a car I know I might meet a new part of myself I didn’t know was there. Now that I think about it, I think the inside of a car is what knows the most honest version of me. Cars have seen my tears of joy, pain, laughter, annoyance, repentance, etc. They’ve heard my loudest off-tune singing followed by my sniggering at myself. I’ve witnessed some awesome dance talent at a traffic light and seen versions of humanity when others extended a helping hand. Some of my most favorite musings have happened while I sat in traffic or drove long distance. I try to take the more scenic route whenever I can because it gives me more time with the car while I get to see the most beautiful thing in the world: the world itself. All the Porsche’s I’ve had the privilege of driving have seen the happiest and most excited me.
