Danielle Robay Instagram - For decades, Gloria Steinem has hosted Talking Circles in her living room. She’s always said, “we produce oxytocin when we connect in person. We don’t experience empathy in the same way unless all five senses are engaged.”

She’s right. Our brains are wired for this. When we gather in person…listening, laughing, crying, sharing…oxytocin flows. Trust builds faster. We leave feeling more seen, soothed, and connected than we ever could through a screen.

Oxytocin is sometimes called the “love hormone.” It’s what runs through a woman’s body during birth. It bonds us. My favorite fact is we don’t just feel it when we’re kind…we feel it even when we witness kindness.

I love the internet, but it’s often a place of high communication, low connection. Talking Circles are the opposite—HIGH connection. They remind us that nothing replaces being in a room together, engaging all five senses, and finding real solutions side by side.

This one, on women’s health, felt both ancient and brand new.

Big thanks to my wonderful, passionate, solution oriented cohost @its_alextaylor and the brilliant kind @apbenven for her wonderful words in the @nytimes.

Danielle Robay Instagram - 2024: the answers we are searching for come to us when we ask ourselves the right questions.

Four years ago I looked back on my list of goals and I had not hit one (personal or professional). So I did some research + started intention setting in a new way. It works. Start with these 24 questions + then head to the PRETTYSMART anywhere you get podcasts— I layout the whole process in 6 minutes!

New years intentions can feel corny or even overwhelming. But they don’t have to be. My new years wish for you is that the version of you you catch yourself daydreaming about becomes your reality this year. The promise I can make you is that if you start with these questions you will be steps closer to it. And…some stuff you didn’t know was under the surface will arise 💭💡💋

Danielle Robay Instagram - For the past three years, I’ve used a specific goal-setting method that has made a meaningful difference in my life—and now, I’m sharing it with you as a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 🎁. I’ve turned my scribbles into a thoughtfully designed worksheet that will help you gain clarity, set meaningful goals, and take actionable steps toward the life you want.

This is my way of saying thank you. For years you’ve been showing up for me I want to show up for you and support you in creating a life you love.

This worksheet guides you to uncover what you truly want and shows you how to achieve it with intention and joy. You can download it in seconds at 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘆.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Here’s why this matters: I used to just make a list of goals, some big, some small. A few would happen and the rest would just fall to the bottom of the next years list. But setting goals with intention and actionable steps behind them, even calendaring them…is a game changer.

This isn’t about checking off boxes or chasing goals because you think you “should.” It’s about creating a life that feels authentically yours. Ready to start? Ready to make a LEAP into 2025? Download the worksheet now, and take your first step today. ✨

Danielle Robay Instagram - @thefemalefoundercollective keynote last week was ✨✨. I was in conversation with @WinnieHarlow, founder of @cayskin + CEO @karenbarner1 (fellow Chicagoan!)

Winnie is 1 of under 100 black female founders who’s raised over $1m in funding ($4.1m), a remarkable feat (and also an upsetting statistic worth noting and changing). Discovered on ANTM, internationally recognized as a supermodel her life in many ways seems like it was sprinkled with gold dust. But it’s deeper than that + here was my takeaway from our conversation: 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗡𝗢 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲, 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗢 𝗮𝘀 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.

•When Winnie was diagnosed with vitiligo some of her family members would point to a new spot on her back, or kids at school would bully her. Her grandmother said, NO, you’re beautiful and blessed and
you will live as such. She has 😊.
•Winnie tried out for the VS fashion show. They said NO. She came back to audition the next year, and that show became a tentpole moment in her career.
•Winnie applied for a job at Sephora at 16. They said NO. @cayskin is launching in Sephora Canada next week + she will be having an event at the same Sephora that turned her down.

Half the battle is believing you can. The other half is executing. And that means not taking NO for an answer; it simply means NEXT OPTION.

Danielle Robay - 11.5K Likes - For decades, Gloria Steinem has hosted Talking Circles in her living room.

Danielle Robay - 7.7K Likes - The first ever @environmentalworkinggroup Clean Con in LA! 🌱 It felt very fitting because California is where things happen first— CA’s progressive thinking sparks change that ripples through the rest of the country.

We heard from leaders + innovators in the wellness space. People who have changed legislation, changed minds + changed lives.

Thank you to everyone who came out; I really loved spending the day with you!

Danielle Robay - 6.7K Likes - 2024: the answers we are searching for come to us when we ask ourselves the right questions.

Danielle Robay - 6.1K Likes - For the past three years, I’ve used a specific goal-setting method that has made a meaningful difference in my life—and now, I’m sharing it with you as a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 🎁.

Danielle Robay - 5.8K Likes - @thefemalefoundercollective keynote last week was ✨✨.
