Caption : I wasn’t ever going to discuss this, but I knew when the Entrepreneur cover came out comments on my weight were going to be DM’d to me. I just posted a polite offer instead of the name calling. But, I was out of the hospital for maybe 3 1/2 weeks from double pneumonia. I was told I had days to live. I had miracle Drs and love from my family and friends to keep me going. I fought. The Drs fought and I was one of the few who made it out. I gained 60lbs plus inflammation from the infection. I never gave up on myself or Wondermind coming to reality. I had zero business to be at a photo shoot. So, yesterday was a beautiful day for many reasons filled with personal attacks. I’m healthy and I will work on myself at my pace. It’s a miracle I am here and could careless if that means I’m a 16 instead of an 8. Much love to everyone. Let’s Wondermind!!! XO picture one was two days to live, picture two the day I was released.

Caption : I’m finally official, ya’ll! When I was beginning I was a single, very young mother, was going to school and working. I needed all the encouragement I could get. I had a “friend” who watched me bust my ass non stop. One day, he smiled at me and said “your tenacity is cute”. He thought my life was adorable because I had a child and no financial stability. Little did he know that, that comment motivated me instead of breaking me. Through many years of heartbreak, failure after failure and fighting for my value as people throw me away, I am standing. I am where I am suppose to be. I am ready for my newest ventures. I am learning to celebrate achievements. All battling with mental health. On a day like today, I am here to support you from a far and to let you know to learn to celebrate every accomplishment and embrace every “failure” or “friend” because each are lessons to help you reach your potential. Caption : I have been rendered silent out of shock since May 25. Anyone who knows me, knows that is almost impossible to do. I knew this post had to be only heart and not from hate. That is all I knew. Hate is an emotion we can all live without. Hate isn’t healthy for the person projecting it and it isn’t healthy for the person receiving it. I chose this image because I am heartbroken that I live in a society that has marginalized black Americans with such hate that they are exhausted. As Americans it is our duty to fix this mess so, that the hate isn’t transferred to another marginalized group and further the plague our country has felt for a second to long, racism. I’ve been told that my simplistic view of living with heart is juvenile, I have no higher education, I did not come from money so, my heart is all I got. If I filled it with hate, I would have nothing. I feel people who suppress other people have too much hate in their heart. I, as a privileged white woman, promise to fight for the suppressed with my heart, stand with the oppressed with my heart and know I will empathize with your pain to my fullest with heart. I will vote for the unheard and I have donated and signed petitions. I’m hear to listen and stand with Black Lives Matter. XO

Caption : It’s no secret I am a huge Schitts Creek fan. But, me and my family, yes even Gracie, watch this together and laugh. We have discussions about it. So, one day it was on in the background when Gracie was playing with a friend. The friend saw David and Patrick kiss. I over heard them discuss it. The friend called it weird (she is a little younger and wasn’t mean about it) but Gracie looked at the TV and asked what is weird. The friend said two boys kissing. Gracie with all her Schitts Creek knowledge proudly stated “no, it’s not, they love each other”. The friend quizzically asked “well would you kiss a girl.” Gracie, “no, but just because I don’t want to kiss a girl, doesn’t mean it’s weird. They can love whoever they want.” Friend “that makes sense.” Now if an 8yr old and a 6yr old have a conversation about differences and supporting differences, can’t we all!!!

Caption : My mom posted this the other day on my birthday. Today I woke up to get some work done before Monday and was talking to Daniella about meeting later. When you are building something bigger than yourself it can be intimidating, it can be even more scary putting it all on the line when there is no roadmap set previously by other people. My mom use to do many things to help make ends meet. Babysitting during the day and cleaned office buildings at night. She would have to take me to the offices she cleaned. I would always go Into the CEOs office (he is my godfather so, it’s ok) and sit at his desk pretending it was mine. There was a machine outside of the building that I would crawl on top of and could see downtown Dallas. All the lights of the big city. I would sit there and stare, hoping I could make it to Dallas one day. If we could all hold onto our childhood mindsets and dreams, I feel we can manifest them into reality. Feeling blessed today. Thank you to everyone who helped this little girl make it to Dallas and beyond!!! XO
