Dondré Whitfield Instagram – I want to give a special shout out to my son @drewhitfield_ today. He played a phenomenal round of golf in his tournament but came to moment where he had to make an important decision-win with dishonesty or lose with honor.
In a world where everyone encourages you to win at all cost, my son chose to call a penalty on himself, which cost him two strokes and probably the tournament.
As a father, I can’t tell you how proud, I am of him. While it hurt his score in golf, it helped his score as a man in development. And that is the most important thing in life.
